$60K Winning Keno Ticket Will Help Bel Air Plumber Boost His Business, Take A Trip
A self-employed plumber from Bel Air ended up winning $60K with a Keno ticket. He plans to use the money to expand his business.
BEL AIR, MD — A plumber and his longtime girlfriend were out on date night with his sister and brother-in-law when he decided to play a few rounds of Keno.
He bought a five-spot Keno ticket and added the super bonus feature to his ticket. He played a set of his favorite numbers and ended up winning $60,000.
“I played all of my lucky numbers and I hit all of the numbers,” the man told Maryland Lottery officials.

“He’s won before but it’s never anything like this,” his girlfriend added. “I came back just in time. I literally walked up and in that same moment, the numbers came up.”
“I went all in and it paid off,” he added.

The self-employed Harford County resident plans to invest some of his newfound fortune into his plumbing business, use some funds to pay bills and take his girlfriend on vacation to Colorado.
Also celebrating is Main Street Tower Restaurant and Lounge. The Harford County business located at 29 South Main Street in Bel Air will receive a $600 lottery bonus for selling a winning Keno ticket of $10,000 or more. The bonus is equal to 1% of the prize.
