Bel Air Christmas Parade 2021: Watch Live
The Bel Air Christmas parade returned to Main Street for its 31st year, for the first time since 2018.

BEL AIR, MD — For the first time since 2018, the Bel Air Christmas Parade traveled down Main Street part of Main Street to get the town in the spirit prior to the arrival of Santa. He and Mrs. Claus closed out the parade in a horse-drawn sleigh.
The parade officially started at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 5, and it lasted a little less than an hour.

Parts of Main Street in Bel Air will be closed from 2 to 5 p.m.
This is the parade route:
- Main Street from Courtland Street to Lee Street
- Right turn on Lee Street to Hickory Avenue
Traditionally staging occurs at the Black Eyed Suzie's lot off Main Street at Churchville Road.
Road closures and delays are expected to last from 2 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 5, according to the Bel Air Police Department. Main Street, Hickory Ave and surrounding cross streets will be impacted by the closures, police said.
At 2:30 p.m. band Route 66 performed in front of the Circuit Courthouse, 20 West Courtland St.
At 4:15 p.m., a community bonfire and sing-along were planned in Shamrock Park, 39 N Hickory Ave. At 4:45 p.m., the town tree lighting will occur.
In 2020, the Bel Air Christmas Parade was canceled due to coronavirus.
In 2019, the parade was called off because of inclement weather.
