Edgewood Shooting Victim Critically Injured, Tips On Shooter Sought

A Rosedale man was critically injured Wednesday night in an Edgewood shooting, the Harford County Sheriff's Office said.

EDGEWOOD, MD — Investigators said a man shot Wednesday night in Edgewood was critically injured, and tips from the public about the shooter are being sought.

About 9:05 p.m., deputies from the Harford County Sheriff’s Office responded to Harford Square Drive at O & P Court for the report of a shooting. Deputies found Oluwatishe Oluwatamilore Ilori, 22, of Rosedale, who had gunshot wounds to his upper and lower body.

Illori was taken by Maryland State Police Medivac Helicopter to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore for care. He is listed in critical condition but recovering, authorities said in a news release.

The investigation was assumed by detectives from the Harford County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division. Investigators from the Forensic Services Unit responded to collect and preserve physical evidence.
