Harford Community College To Open New Workforce Training Center At Water’s Edge
Harford Community College will open a new Workforce Training Center at Water's Edge for county residents.
HARFORD COUNTY, MD — Harford Community College will be opening a new Workforce Training Center at Water’s Edge to help county residents obtain the knowledge, skills and abilities to secure jobs with living wages.
Located at 4690 Millennium Drive in Belcamp, the Workforce Training Center will offer five new program: welding certification, pipeline construction and operation, manufacturing and production, automotive service and diagnostics, job readiness and customer service training. The hands-on programs will allow students to train for high-demand jobs and directly enter the workforce.
Training can be completed in less than a year and funding is available. The first classes at this
location are scheduled to start Sept. 24.
