Kidnapping Victim Escapes from Trunk Off MD 543

On Friday afternoon, a woman kidnapped for days climbed out of a trunk on MD 543, near the Interstate 95 interchange, and she ran for her life. Officials said they had a suspect in custody on Saturday.

The woman reached a Cracker Barrel nearby and police were called. The victim alleged she had been held against her will for several days, according to Maryland State Police, which provided aid and escorted her to the hospital for medical treatment. >>> Read more.
