12-Year-Old Cold Case Needs Public's Help As Detectives Aim To Solve Fatal Shooting

The Harford County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in solving a 2013 cold case involving a fatal shooting.

HARFORD COUNTY, MD — Detectives are asking for the public's help in solving a 2013 cold case. Anyone with information that leads to an arrest could be eligible for a cash reward, police said.

On June 22, 2013, at around 10:16 p.m., Harford County sheriff deputies were called to the 1800 block of Grempler Way in Edgewood for a report of a shooting. They found Quinton "Sparks" Stokes, 24, of Edgewood with multiple gunshot wounds. He was taken by Maryland State Police helicopter to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center, where he later died, the sheriff's office reported.
