Water Issue Prompts Evacuation Of 56 Seniors From Havre De Grace Retirement Home
More than 50 seniors were evacuated Thursday from their Havre de Grace retirement home due to a water issue, fire officials said.

HAVRE DE GRACE, MD — A water issue at St. John's Towers prompted the evacuation of 56 people from the 7-story senior apartment building Thursday.
Volunteers from Susquehanna Hose Company and Havre de Grace Ambulance Corps helped at the scene. No injuries were reported, according to officials.
Additional help was requested at the scene, including a medical ambulance bus from Howard County Department of Fire and Rescue Services, Harford County Government Disaster Assistance, Harford County Department of Emergency Services and Office of the Maryland State Fire Marshal.
