2 People Found Dead In Chevy Chase Home

CHEVY CHASE, MD — Police are investigating after two people were found dead inside a Chevy Chase home Wednesday.

According to Montgomery County police, officers were called to the 8500 block of Connecticut Avenue around 6:30 p.m. to conduct a welfare check. When officers arrived, they found the bodies of a man and woman inside the residence.

Both victims were pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

The victims were taken to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore, where an autopsy will be conducted to determine the official cause and manner of death.

Polcie said there is no ongoing threat to the community. More information will be released pending notification of family.
