$50K Winning Powerball Ticket Sold in Bethesda
A $50,000 winning Powerball ticket was sold this week at Woodmont Market in Bethesda. Players should check their tickets to see if they won.
BETHESDA, MD — A $50,000 winning Powerball ticket was sold in downtown Bethesda this week, along with 19,370 other winning Maryland tickets with prizes ranging from $4 to $100.
The winning numbers for the Dec. 13 Powerball drawing were 3, 8, 41, 56 and 64, and the Powerball was 18. The Maryland Lottery is encouraging players to check their tickets to see if they were in Montgomery County, where the “third-tier winning ticket” for $50,000 was sold.
The ticket was sold at Woodmont Market at 8227 Woodmont Avenue in Bethesda. This is the 75th third-tier winning Powerball ticket sold in Maryland in 2023, the Maryland Lottery said.

The next Powerball drawing on Saturday has an estimated annuity of $535 million and an estimated cash value of $257.6 million.
Lottery officials encourage all winners to sign the back of their tickets immediately and put them in a safe location. They get 182 days from the date of the drawing to claim their prizes.

Players must redeem prizes larger than $25,000 by mail or at Maryland Lottery headquarters in the Montgomery Park Business Center, 1800 Washington Blvd., Suite 330 in Baltimore. The Lottery’s Claims Center in Baltimore is open by appointment only. Players can visit the lottery’s website to schedule an appointment.
