Anthropologie is planning to employ 100 people when it moves into the space that formally housed Barnes & Noble on Bethesda Row.

BETHESDA, MD — Anthropologie & Co. is planning to employ 100 people when it moves into the 37,500-square-foot space that formally housed Barnes & Noble on Bethesda Row.
The new Anthropologie is set to open this fall, Sara Goodstein, Director of Public Relations, told Patch.
The store will span more than 24,000 square feet, which is about three times the size of the average Anthropologie, Goodstein said. It will feature a cafe, home design center, furniture showroom, beauty boutique and shoe salon.
