Bethesda Nursing Home Evacuated For Attic Fire
Residents of Bethesda Health and Rehab went back inside once the fire was contained.
Bethesda Health and Rehab nursing home was briefly evacuated Wednesday afternoon after a fire broke out in the facility's attic, according to the Montgomery County Fire Department.
Fire spokesman Pete Piringer said on Twitter that a medical bus and ride-ons were used for evacuation and shelter.
A few minutes later, the fire was under control, and residents were taken back inside, Piringer said.
