BETHESDA, MD — The build-out of Chip City in downtown Bethesda is underway, with the goal of opening the new cookie store later this summer, according to a report.
Chip City has a construction permit from Montgomery County on display in its storefront window, Robert Dyer @ Bethesda Row reported Monday. The store will be located at 4939 Elm Street, in the former location of Fancy Cakes by Leslie. Demolition of the interior of the previous store is nearly finished, according to Robert Dyer.
The location would be Chip City's first store in Maryland.
