Dalia's Falafel Opens Restaurant In Downtown Bethesda: Report
Dalia's Falafel has opened a restaurant on Old Georgetown Road in downtown Bethesda in the former location of M&N's Pizza.
BETHESDA, MD — Dalia’s Falafel has opened a restaurant on Old Georgetown Road in downtown Bethesda in the former location of M&N’s Pizza.
“A longtime Kensington food stand, the popular and highly-rated Dalia's now has a permanent, bricks-and-mortar takeout location here in downtown Bethesda,” Robert Dyer @ Bethesda Row reported Wednesday.
Dalia's Falafel, co-owned by Ben Assaraf, Cody Chatham and Kevin Gill, is named after Assaraf's mother, Dalia, who supplied family recipes for the falafel and its accompanying sauces.

The new restaurant, like the food stand, serves falafel in a pita or bowl fully loaded with tomatoes, cucumbers, onions and other vegetables and sauces. Customers can also ask for Moroccan beef kabobs in their pita or bowl.
If the Bethesda location works out, the restaurant may look at expanding to other locations in the D.C. area, Assaraf told Patch earlier this year.
