Downtown Bethesda Parking Fees To Rise
Beginning Sunday, rates will increase at county lots and street meters.

Beginning Sunday, residents will need to shell out a bit more to park in downtown Bethesda.
Parking rates at meters and in county lots and garages will increase to $1.25 per hour for short-term parking – one to four hours – and 80 cents per hour for long-term parking, more than four hours.
Parking convenience stickers will be bumped to $150 a month.

Ride On fares will also rise beginning Sunday. Cash fares will increase to $1.80, and a fare paid with SmarTrip Card will rise to $1.60. A Ride On monthly pass will increase to $45.

You can also use your credit card to pay to park at 41 along Norfolk Avenue – a pilot program that may be expanded throughout Bethesda.
