Early Child Care Center To Open In Bethesda This Fall

BETHESDA, MD — A new early child care provider is coming to Bethesda this fall, offering care for infants, toddlers, 2 and 3 year olds, as well as pre-K and transitional kindergarten programs. Georgetown Hill Early School plans to open on the corner of Wisconsin Avenue and Elm Street, near the Bethesda metro station.

Georgetown Hill says its curriculum is based on PLAN: play, learning, arts and nurturing, which is responsive to the needs of children, it says.

"A child’s emotional and social well-being plays a critical role in their ability to learn and adapt to the community and greater world," the center said in its announcement. "Children are provided opportunities for growth and social development, creative and cognitive development, and physical and moral development."

Georgetown Hill is hosting a park series to let Bethesda families get to know its staff. Two dates are left: Zig Zag Magic this Wednesday and Tony M Music on Wednesday, Aug. 18 at 10 a.m. Parents can RSVP for the outdoor event at Elm Street Park here.

We look forward to meeting our new families and neighbors while directly contributing the Bethesda-Chevy Chase community.”

Georgetown Hill already has 11 other locations throughout Montgomery County, Frederick County, and Prince George’s County.
