The Bethesda-Chevy Chase Rescue Squad, a largely volunteer rescue organization, will host an open house Oct. 2 in conjunction with Taste of Bethesda. The day will feature fire and rescue activities and displays, tours of the station, equipment demonstrations, activities for children, and a special visit by a helicopter.
