Haven Takes Pizza To The Streets
Popular pizzeria is launching a mobile pizza company, Bethesda Magazine reports.
The owner of the popular in Bethesda is taking his pizza on the road, Bethesda Magazine’s Table Talk blog reports.
Tiger Mullen is gearing up to launch a mobile pizza catering business dubbed the Tomato Flyer Pizza Co., according to the report. Mullen is refurbishing three, red, 1948 International Harvester KB-7 trucks to act as pizza kitchens on wheels.
The trucks will park at private parties and events, and will also serve up salads, gelato, coffee and espresso, according to Bethesda Magazine.

The business is set to launch in February or March.
Other local pizza businesses have taken to the streets as well—Melissa Ballinger recently bought a pizza truck formerly operated by Potomac’s Dennis Friedman and Bethesda Central Farm Market’s Mitch Berliner, Bethesda Magazine reported.
