KID Museum Now Open At Bethesda Metro Center
The KID Museum site was designed for the "Mind of a Maker," to encourage kids to be inventive and innovative, the website says.

BETHESDA, MD — The new flagship KID Museum site is now open at the Bethesda Metro Center, as it welcomed its first visitors during the grand opening Sunday.
"Our state-of-the-art makerspace is purpose-built for kids ages 4-14 to explore coding, robotics, engineering design, and hands-on maker learning, with the capacity to welcome more than 100,000 visitors every year," said KID Museum's website. "Join our growing maker community by attending grand opening events, becoming a member, or sponsoring us to help all kids discover a love of exploring, creating, and collaborating to become makers of the future."
Bethesda Beat reported that some of the museum's activities will continue at the Davis Library.

There are tickets on sale for Sundays on the museum's website.
"Enter a magical forest of light, meet and work with visiting artists, and explore our expanded maker studios featuring textiles, electronics, woodworking, and so much more," the website says. "KID Museum is a one-of-a-kind experience like no other."
