Maryland Weather Forecast: Cooling Off This Week, 'Til Chance of Showers
Farewell, three-digit temps. At one point this week, we'll see a high of 77 degrees. Here's the latest Maryland weather forecast.

If weather was a pendulum swinging to and fro, we'll reach the opposite of last week's heat wave around Thursday of this week.
Dangerous temperatures are certainly behind us, according to the National Weather Service. We might near 90 degrees on Wednesday. Otherwise, the temperatures will be in the 80s and won't even reach the high 70s on Thursday.
We'll also have a week of sunny skies, with noticeable wind to start the week. The first chance of showers will be Saturday, with a better chance Saturday night and into Sunday.

Temperatures will also climb back into the mid-80s for the weekend. We're still expecting a warmer-than-usual fall in Maryland.
Elsewhere, Florida will be watching a tropical disturbance heading for the state. Hurricane watchers say significant development isn't expected.
