Maryland Weather: Rain, Snow and Sleet in Forecast Tuesday Night
Cold temperatures and latest blast of wet weather will mean wintery mix for most of the region, according to the National Weather Service.

BETHESDA, MD — Rain, snow and sleet are forecasted for much of the area Tuesday night, according to the National Weather Service.
The forecast has the precipitation starting as rain before 10 p.m. and switching to a wintery mix or snow until early Wednesday.
Areas along the water will see limited or no sleet or snow. Ares to the west and north in the region could see a half-inch of snow and sleet accumulation.

Bethesda: A chance of rain before 11pm, then rain, snow, and sleet likely between 11pm and 2am, then a slight chance of snow and sleet after 2am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 32. Light and variable wind becoming northwest 5 to 7 mph after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 60%. Little or no snow and sleet accumulation expected.

Bowie: A chance of rain before 10pm, then a chance of rain, snow, and sleet between 10pm and 1am, then a slight chance of snow after 1am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 32. Light and variable wind becoming northwest 5 to 8 mph after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 50%.
Columbia: A chance of rain and sleet before 10pm, then rain, snow, and sleet likely between 10pm and 1am, then a slight chance of snow after 1am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 29. Light and variable wind becoming northwest 5 to 8 mph after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New snow and sleet accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
Annapolis: A chance of showers, mainly between 8pm and 2am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 34. Light and variable wind becoming northwest 5 to 7 mph after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
Baltimore: Rain likely after 8pm, mixing with snow after 2am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 34. Light and variable wind becoming northwest 5 to 10 mph after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 60%. Little or no snow accumulation expected.
Bel Air: Snow and sleet likely before 1am, then a slight chance of snow. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 29. Light and variable wind becoming northwest 5 to 8 mph after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New snow and sleet accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
