Montgomery County Human Rights Office Hosts Employment Breakfast
The free seminar will provide participants with information about emerging employment laws and regulations.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, MD – Montgomery County’s Office of Human Rights and the Human Rights Commission will co-host a free employment seminar on December 7, from 8:30 a.m. to noon. The event will be held at the Rockville Memorial Library in the second-floor conference room.
The County’s Employment Law Updates & Information Breakfast will provide participants with information about emerging employment laws and regulations including sexual harassment, Earned Sick and Safe leave, age discrimination, tipped employee reporting requirements, minimum wage, and the Ban the Box law.
“This employment seminar will provide participants with legal updates and valuable information about trends and troubling areas where employers may find themselves out of compliance with fair employment laws and into expensive legal trouble,” said OHR Director James Stowe. “I encourage all employers, employment attorneys, and interested parties who have questions about changes in employment laws to plan to attend this informative free seminar.”
