MONTGOMERY COUNTY, MD – Rusty the dog will star as Sandy in the Olney Theatre Center production of Annie through Dec. 31. The talented pup wants to help other dogs like him find their forever homes, so he has donated a pair of tickets to the show to be auctioned off. Proceeds will benefit the homeless animals at the Montgomery County Humane Society. Tickets are valued at $150 but bidding begins at $75. The auction will end Dec. 4.

From the eBay listing:

"The winner of this auction will be able to attend any performance of ANNIE (excluding school matinees, and subject to ticket availability) from December 5th through the 31st. Winning bidder will be notified how to reserve tickets at the conclusion of the auction, and will have 48 hours to choose the performance he/she wants to attend. These tickets are Rusty's cast member complimentary VIP tickets, and will be assigned to the best available seats for the performance selected. (Additional tickets can also be purchased through the box office at the same time.) As an added bonus, if you attend a performance in which Rusty plays Sandy, you can get your photo taken with him after the show!"
