Pedestrian, 74, Killed In North Bethesda Intersection Crash
Rockville resident Eric Frank Grosse, 74, was jogging on Tuckerman Lane when he was hit in the crosswalk, Montgomery County Police said.

NORTH BETHESDA, MD — A 74-year-old man from Rockville died after he was hit by a car while jogging in North Bethesda, Montgomery County Police said.
Eric Frank Grosse, Jr. was running south on Tuckerman Lane the morning of April 28, police said. He was in the crosswalk, which had a push-to-activate pedestrian signal, when he was hit by a 2019 Subaru Forester, authorities said.
Police are investigating if the pedestrian signal was activated when Grosse was hit. The driver of the Subaru stayed at the scene and Grosse was taken to the hospital, where he died.

The Collision Reconstruction Unit is investigating the crash and has asked anyone with information to call CRU detectives at (240) 773- 6620.
