Police ID 2 People Found Dead In Chevy Chase Home

Both victims were found inside a Chevy Chase residence around 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Montgomery County police said.

CHEVY CHASE, MD — Montgomery County police have identified two people who were found dead inside a Chevy Chase home on Wednesday.

On Friday, police said 61-year-old Kate Simoni Fralin and 63-year-old William Scott Fralin, both of Chevy Chase, were found dead in a residence located in the 8500 block of Connecticut Avenue. Police discovered their bodies around 6:30 p.m. while conducting a welfare check.

Both victims were pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

Authorities have not released details on what led to their deaths.

The victims were taken to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore, where an autopsy will be conducted to determine the official cause and manner of death.

Police said there is no ongoing threat to the community.
