Police Searching For Scooter Rider Suspected In Series Of Gropings
Police continue to investigate groping incidents in Bethesda, releasing photos of the type of sweatshirt and shoes worn by the suspect.

BETHESDA, MD — Montgomery County police are continuing to investigate a series of inappropriate touchings where a suspect on an electric scooter groped women in a neighborhood along the Trolley Trail in Bethesda.
On Tuesday, police released new photos of the type of shoes and sweatshirt worn by the suspect. Police also sought warrants for companies with electric scooters to determine if they could identify the suspect by using a GPS or geolocation device on the scooters. But the police told Bethesda Patch that they did not get any leads from those warrants.
In early June, Montgomery County police released a video of a man who is suspected of groping women in the neighborhood next to the Trolley Trail between Edson Lane and Tuckerman Lane in Bethesda.

The suspect knocked her to the ground and groped her before she was able to escape and call police.
On May 23, two females were walking along the Trolley Trail when they were approached by the same suspect who was riding an electric scooter, according to police. The suspect followed them and touched them inappropriately, police said. One of the females then took a video of the suspect as he was leaving the scene.
