Mariame Toure Sylla, who will turn 60 next month, remains missing with no leads as to her whereabouts. Greenbelt Police Chief Richard Bowers reiterated there are no indications Sylla's disappearance is connected to the weekend slaying of Rachel Morin in Bel Air.

Rachel Morin Death: Boyfriend Gave DNA Sample, Family Asks For Space

The boyfriend of Rachel Morin, a mother of five found dead along a stretch of the Ma and Pa Trail in Bel Air on Sunday, gave investigators a DNA sample and his cell phone when questioned by investigators, according to a report. Authorities are hoping to speak to people who were on the trail the same time as Morin was killed — about 6 p.m. on Aug. 5. Her death is being investigated as a homicide.

Woman Hit By Tree During Storm, Houses Damaged

Multiple injuries, property damage and fires were reported after storms rolled through Maryland last Monday night. A woman was hit by a tree along the Joe K. Trail under the Hatem Bridge. The Havre De Grace Ambulance Corps was dispatched and took the woman to the hospital, according to the Susquehanna Hose Company.

A man who sent explicit photos of himself to a 14-year-old girl was sentenced to prison on Wednesday for coercion and enticement of a minor, according to the U.S. Department of Justice. Jonathan Willis, 37, pleaded guilty on March 15 in U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia.

Authorities are searching for information after skeletal remains were discovered inside a suitcase in Baltimore. According to a police, the remains were found in the 2400 block of East Madison Street. Officers responded after receiving a call about the remains.
