SEV Medspa's First MD Location Opens

CHEVY CHASE, MD — A medspa popular with celebrities in Los Angeles has made the journey to the East Coast to open its first Maryland location.

SEV, a medspa founded in 2010 by Sevana Petrosian, opened Wednesday at 3820 Chaplin Place in Chevy Chase, near the Amazon Fresh Store. The business specializes in aesthetic services like laser hair removal, injectables and body contouring.

Petrosian started SEV in the back of a hair salon in Glendale, California, and has expanded and drawn visits from celebrities in Beverly Hills and West Hollywood. Now, the medspa has locations in other states.

This opening marks the 43rd SEV location. The med spa launched with laser hair removal
services, and plans to roll out additional services later this year, including injectable procedures
and advanced skin and body treatments.
