A Thank You To Mental Health Care Workers: 30 Days Of Gratitude
A Bethesda resident thanks her licensed clinical social worker for all she's done for her. Show your friends and family your gratitude here.

BETHESDA, MD — All month, Patch is asking readers to share who they're grateful for. Bethesda resident Krysten Jenci writes in to thank her licensed clinical social worker for all of the ways she's helped her make small but powerful changes in her life.
Here's Krysten's note:
I want to thank all the mental health care workers for continuing to work so hard to take care of us during the pandemic. I have been talking to a licensed clinical social worker for years now and she has helped me to reflect on patterns in my life and make small but powerful changes that have significantly helped me and my family. I will call her LME for purposes of this article but I want to thank her for her wisdom, reflections, insights, great questions, patience, kindness and compassion during a very tough time for all of us. She is such a wonderful human being and I am so very grateful to have her in my life. She has made a profound difference in how I am in the world and how I communicate with my two teenage kids. She worked long hours during the pandemic to try and meet the increased demand for mental health services and she always pours her heart and soul into her work. She is consistently a positive force for good in my life and I want to thank her for making such a difference in my life. Thank you LME!!!!
Patch will continue publishing stories like this one for "30 Days Of Gratitude," a series to remind us of the goodness and joy in our lives. We want to share the gratitude as widely as we can, and invite you to fill out the form below to show thanks for someone in your life.
