1 Dead In School Bus Crash In PG County: Police
A woman is dead and several others are injured after a crash involving a school bus in Prince George's County, police say.

CLINTON, MD -- A woman has died and several others have been taken to the hospital after a multi-vehicle crash involving a school bus in Clinton early Wednesday morning, police say.
Police tweeted at 8:24 a.m. that they were on the scene of a fatal collision involving a tractor trailer, school bus, and multiple vehicles, and later reported that the crash happened at around 6:13 a.m. in the area of Surratts Road and Branch Avenue.
A woman who was one of the drivers was pronounced dead at the scene, and other vehicle drivers and passengers involved were transported to the hospital for treatment, police say. Authorities are still investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.

WTOP reports that eight others, including two teens, were being evaluated after the crash. The woman who was pronounced dead was driving a car that had become entrapped between the tractor trailer and Prince George's County school bus No. 4104, according to the report.
The bus was headed to Charles H. Flowers High School, the report adds, noting that the two teens who were aboard had injuries that were not life-threatening.
