19-Year-Old Dies 5 Months After Being Hit By A Car While Driving His Scooter

A 19-year-old who was hit in the bicycle lane while driving his scooter in October 2024 has died from his injuries, police say.

GREENBELT, MD — A 19-year-old Greenbelt man who was hit by a car while riding his scooter in October 2024 has died of his injuries.

The Prince George's County Police Department is investigating the now fatal collision that happened Oct. 13, 2024, around 7:05 p.m. in the area of Crescent Road and Greenhill Road.

The preliminary investigation revealed a driver hit 19-year-old Timarr Godette while he was operating a scooter in the bicycle lane of Crescent Road. He was taken to a hospital with critical injuries where he died March 2, 2025.
