Rash Of Vehicle Break-Ins Prompts Police To Ask Public For Help

Laurel residents are asked to contact the police department if they have doorbell camera footage of the suspects in a string of break-ins.

LAUREL, MD — Numerous vehicles were broken into in the overnight hours Dec. 21 and police officers are asking for the public's help in finding the suspects.

Some of the areas where the break-ins happened are:
  • 8300–8400 block of Ashford Blvd.
  • 14300 block of Oxford
  • 7900 block of Laurel Lakes Court
  • 8200 block of Harvest Bend Lane

"We’re asking residents in these neighborhoods to review any doorbell or home surveillance footage from overnight. If you notice anything unusual or have information that may assist the investigation, please contact us. We appreciate the community’s continued partnership in keeping our neighborhoods safe," the Laurel Police Department stated.
