2 Vehicles Strike, Kill PG County Man: Police
A local man crossing the street in Temple Hills was struck by a pickup truck and then a second car, police say.

TEMPLE HILLS, MD -- A District Heights man has died after being struck by two vehicles while crossing a road in Temple Hills on Tuesday, police say.
Police were called to the area of St. Barnabas Road near 28th Avenue at around 11:45 p.m. on Feb. 12 for a report of a collision involving a pedestrian, according to a report from the Prince George's County Police Department.
Police found the victim suffering from critical injuries, and he died a short time later at the hospital. Police have since identified him as 38-year-old Richard Lee.

"The preliminary investigation reveals the victim was crossing St. Barnabas Road when he was struck by a pickup truck in the westbound lanes," the report states. "The victim was then struck by a second car. Preliminarily, it appears the victim was not in a crosswalk or a signalized intersection when he was struck."
Both of the involved drivers remained on the scene, police say.
