Our school, Accrete Martial Arts (AMA), is passionate about empowering individuals of all ages through the practice of martial arts. PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — Detectives are investigating a fatal shooting that happened Saturday afternoon. A reward of up to $25,000 has been offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment in this case. On Sept. 14 at approximately 4 p.m., Prince George's police officers were called to the 9200 block of New Hampshire Avenue for a report of a shooting. They found 35-year-old Carlos Alberto Ortiz of Silver Spring in a wooded area with gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead on the scene. Detectives are working to determine a motive and identify a suspect(s). Anyone with information about this case who would like to speak to a detective can call 301-516-2512.
