3 Children, 8 Adults Displaced In House Fire That Sent 2 Firefighters To The Hospital
Eleven people have been displaced by a Wednesday night house fire in Beltsville that sent two firefighters to the hospital for evaluation.
BELTSVILLE, MD — Three children and eight adults have been displaced after a fire broke out at their two-story single-family home located in the 400 block of Daisey Creek Terrace. Two Prince George's County firefighters were taken to the hospital to be evaluated after battling the blaze.
According to the Prince George's County Fire Department, emergency crews headed out to the fire around 6:33 p.m. Wednesday. They found the home blanketed in flames. They were able to bring the fire under control and a search of the home showed that everyone made it out safely. No injuries to the occupants were reported.
The 11 people who have been displaced are being helped by the Prince George's County Office of Emergency Management. Investigators are working to determine what caused the fire.
