Woman Dies Days After Being Hit By Vehicle

A Landover woman has died days after she was hit by a vehicle along Landover Road, police say.

LANDOVER, MD — A 63-year-old Landover woman died after police say she was hit by a vehicle in the 7700 block of Landover Road.

Detectives are investigating the pedestrian collision that happened Dec. 14 around 6:45 p.m. Police found Audrey Louise Perry in the road with trauma. The driver remained at the scene and wasn't injured, according to a police report.

Perry was taken to the hospital where she died of her injuries almost a week later.

Preliminary investigations indicate that the driver was traveling eastbound on Landover Road, for reasons currently being investigated, and hit Perry who was attempting to cross the roadway.
