6 Firefighters Treated At Hospital After Battling House Fire
Six firefighters reportedly were injured while battling a fire at a Fort Washington home late Wednesday morning.

FORT WASHINGTON, MD — Six firefighters were taken to the hospital with minor injuries after they battled a house fire shortly after 10 a.m. Wednesday.
Prince George's County firefighters were called to their eighth house fire in 24 hours at 10:10 a.m. April 9. The home, located in the 9200 block of Fort Foote Road in Fort Washington, is a two-story single-family home. When they arrived, firefighters found heavy flames bursting from each floor of the home, according to the fire department.
Firefighters were able to put the fire out, which is being investigated, officials said.
