Activities, Athletics On Schedule Despite 2-Hour Late Start For Prince George's Schools

After-school activities and practices are still on schedule for Prince George's County students despite a previously sent weather alert.

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — All Prince George’s County Public Schools buildings and offices opened two hours later on Tuesday due to the risk for freezing rain.

However, officials noted that they mistakenly stated in their initial closure alert that there would be a modified schedule for afternoon activities.

But officials clarified that alert and stated all extracurricular activities and practices would proceed according to schedule.
