Baldor Specialty Foods To Celebrate New Lanham Warehouse Opening With Ribbon-Cutting

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — Baldor Specialty Foods will be hosting a private event Sept. 17 to celebrate the opening of its new warehouse in Lanham.

As the largest importer and distributor of fresh produce and specialty foods in the northeast and mid-Atlantic regions, the new Baldor warehouse features more than 100,000 square feet and has 35 doors. It replaces an existing warehouse in Jessup that's one-seventh its size.

The decade-old company supplies restaurants, retailers and other customers along the East Coast from Maine to Virginia with specialty produce, meat, dairy, and fish from four hubs in New York City, Boston, Philadelphia and Jessup. It will continue operating from the Jessup facility while it retrofits the Lanham warehouse.
