Breast Cancer Fundraiser

Where: 1612 Professional Blvd. Suite E, Crofton
Details: Bootcamp for Boobies is a boot camp marathon, similar to a race for the cure. Participants get sponsored for their efforts in order to raise money to fight breast cancer.
Oktoberfest Car Show
When: Saturday
Where: Crescent Beer & Wine, 15222 Old Chapel Rd., Bowie
Details: The event will feature the High Rollers Car Club, free hotdogs, chips, drinks and face painting as well as a seasonal beer and wine tasting. Crescent Beer & Wine will also be collecting pajamas for children in need.
Fall Festival
When: Saturday, Sunday
Where: Patuxent Nursery, 2410 North Crain Highway, Bowie
Details: Pony rides, moon bounce, inflatable slide, hayrides, pumpkin patch, face painting, food, music and more. The admission fee is $10.00, food not included.
The Great Grace Pumpkin Patch
When: Saturday
Where: Grace Lutheran Church, 2503 Belair Dr., Bowie
Details: Pumpkin sales, moon bounce, kids' korner, hayrides, pumpkin carving and food. Proceeds benefit the children's ministry.
Oktoberfest
When: Saturday
Where: Ascension Catholic Church, 12700 Lanham Severn Rd., Bowie
Details: German food, German beer, gun goods, and live entertainment on two stages for the entire family. Admission is free.
Free Tchoukball Clinic
When: Saturday
Where: Bowie City Gym
Details: Sport4All and the City of Bowie Gym are hosting a free clinic for ages 7 to 12 to learn and play the Swiss Sport of Tchoukball (pronounced "chook ball").
