Bowie PNC Bank Robbery Under Investigation

The suspect implied he had a weapon and demanded money from a teller.

A man robbed the PNC Bank on Crain Highway in Bowie on Monday morning and escaped with an undisclosed amount of cash, according to a police report.

At around 11 a.m., a man entered the PNC Bank at the 3500 block of Crain Highway in Bowie, implied he had a weapon and demanded money from the teller, according to Bowie police.

The teller gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of money and he fled the store and got into an unknown vehicle, leaving the scene.

The suspect is described as a black man with salt-and-pepper hair and a beard, about 5-foot-6 and of an average build. He was wearing sunglasses and a blue T-shirt at the time of the robbery.

No injuries were reported as a result of the robbery. Prince George’s County police have taken over the investigation.
