Bowie State Lineman Excited To Enter NFL Draft, Tune In Thursday
A Bowie State lineman from Baltimore has entered the NFL draft and aims to become the first BSU player to be drafted to the pros.
BOWIE, MD — Baltimore native Josh Pryor could become the first player in Bowie State history to be drafted to the pros.
The BSU defensive lineman showcased his skills during pro day at the University of Maryland March 29. There have only been four Bowie State Bulldogs in the NFL ever, but they weren't drafted. The 6'4 280-pound lineman earned honorable mention All-American in 2019 and CIAA Rookie of the Week three times. He finished his college career with 32 sacks.
"It would mean everything to me. This is something I've been working toward. Since I was 5, I've been playing this game so this has been my goal for awhile now. It would definitely be a big thing for me for sure," Pryor told WUSA.
