Bread + Butter Officially Opens In MGM National Harbor's Food Court

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — Bread + Butter opened its all-day cafe at MGM National Harbor's National Market last week, making it the second such eatery on the East Coast.

The fast-casual cafe stays open not just for breakfast, but also lunch, dinner and late night hours. Bread + Butter features favorites from chicken and waffles and patty melts to sweet treats like coconut cream pie and chocolate cake, as well as a variety of pastries and milkshakes.

Guests can enjoy breakfast from early in the morning to late-night with items such as French toast, steak and eggs, the three eggs breakfast and more. Lighter fare such as cobb salads, avocado toast, steel cut oats and shrimp tacos also are on the menu. Patrons wanting to order after regular dinner hours can enjoy the late-night menu featuring a bacon ranch fried chicken sandwich, double cheeseburger and chicken wings, to name just a few.

“We are excited to debut Bread + Butter as part of our diverse lineup of delicious dining options,” MGM National Harbor’s Executive Chef Anthony Cieplinski told Patch. “Our talented team is thrilled to offer even more choices throughout the day to meet our guests' needs. From grab-and-go options to diner-style breakfast dishes and home-style classics, guests can enjoy memorable dishes anytime during their visit with us.”

After receiving consistent feedback from guests who were seeking more breakfast and late-night options, Cieplinski told Patch that a diner concept was a natural fit to meet those needs.

"As we built out the space, we wanted to create an atmosphere that resembled a classic American diner with vibrant colors, dessert cases and an extensive menu. To make it work as a fast-casual restaurant, we thought through our menu strategically to ensure we're offering guests a diverse selection of options at different times throughout the day for a quick and satisfying meal. Whenever they visit, from early in the morning to late at night, they'll find something they're craving," Cieplinski told Patch.

Bread + Butter's hours for breakfast are 6 a.m. to noon; lunch and dinner from noon until 11 p.m.; and late-night dining from 11 p.m. until 3 a.m. MGM Harbor can be found at 101 MGM National Ave, Oxon Hill.
