D.C. Driver Dies In Crash In Temple Hills Shopping Center Parking Lot
An 85-year-old Washington, D.C., driver has died after being involved in a crash in a shopping center parking lot, police say.
TEMPLE HILLS, MD — An 85-year-old driver died in a crash that happened in a parking lot Saturday.
On March 1 around 4:10 p.m., Prince George's police officers were called to the 3700 block of Branch Avenue for a report of a collision involving two vehicles. Constance Banner, 85, of Washington, D.C., was taken to the hospital for treatment of her injuries. She died the next day. The second driver wasn't injured, according to police.
The preliminary investigation revealed the collision happened in a shopping center parking lot. The cause is under investigation.
