Washington, D.C., Man Found Fatally Shot In Woods Outside Capitol Heights

CAPITOL HEIGHTS, MD — A 24-year-old Washington, D.C., man has been found with gunshot wounds in a wooded area of Capitol Heights.

On March 23 around 1:40 p.m., Prince George's police officers were called to the 1200 block of Boones Hills Road for a report of a body. Officers found Isiah Hunter with gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Detectives are working to develop a motive and identify suspect(s), according to the police department.
