Delays Expected On Woodrow Wilson Bridge For Maintenance Work

Drivers should expect delays on the Woodrow Wilson Bridge in the overnight Thursday due to routine maintenance being carried out.

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — Routine maintenance will be done in the overnight Thursday on the Woodrow Wilson Bridge (I-95/I-495 - Capital Beltway). Weather permitting, the work will begin at 11 p.m. Dec. 7 and wrap up by 5 a.m. Dec. 8.

There will be brief, periodic openings of the drawbridge during the maintenance work, resulting in full temporary stops in both directions of the Capital Beltway. These stops are expected to be 15 to 20 minutes in length and will occur several times in the overnight. Drivers should take an alternate route or plan on lengthy delays, the State Highway Administration stated.
