1 Driver Killed, 2nd Driver Hurt In Hyattsville Crash

One driver died and another driver was injured in a car crash that happened in Hyattsville, according to Prince George's County Police.

HYATTSVILLE, MD — A 36-year-old man has died in a car crash and a second driver was injured, according to a Prince George's County police report.

According to police, on Feb. 28 around 6:50 p.m., the two-vehicle crash happened in the 5400 block of Tuxedo Road. Sehirbie Rouse was taken to the hospital and pronounced dead a short time later. The driver of the second vehicle suffered minor injuries.

Authorities said Rouse was traveling eastbound on Tuxedo Road, when, for reasons under investigation, he crossed into the westbound lanes and struck the second vehicle.
