Electrical Panel Sparks Fire In Marlton House

An electrical panel caught fire in a Marlton home early Friday, which spread to other floors of the house, according to the PGFD.

According to the Prince George's County Fire/EMS Department, crews arrived at the home located in the 12100 block of Sand Wedge Lane earlier in the day Dec. 5. Firefighters found the electrical panel on fire in the basement of the home.

MARLTON, MD — An electrical panel in a Marlton home's basement caught on fire Friday morning that spread to the house's upper floor.

According to the Prince George's County Fire/EMS Department, crews arrived at the home located in the 12100 block of Sand Wedge Lane earlier in the day Dec. 5. Firefighters found the electrical panel on fire in the basement of the two-story single family home. The fire had spread between floors, the fire department stated.

The fire was extinguished without injuries, the department reported.
