Firefighters responded to the scene at 4702 Rocky Spring Lane around 11:20 a.m. According to the paper, they encountered heavy smoke pouring out from the attic. The building was safely evacuated, the Gazette reports, and firefighters were able to extinguish the blaze quickly.
