Fire Reported on Aventine Place in Bowie
The bulk of the flames were extinguished in less than ten minutes.

Prince George's County firefighters are on the scene of a fire in the 3100 block of Aventine Place in Bowie, according to PGFD spokesperson Mark Brady.
A one-story garage was ablaze on Monday afternoon with smoke showing in the 3,500 adjacent two-story dwelling, Brady said.
It took about 25 firefighters around eight minutes to extinguish the bulk of the flames. Firefighters are continuing to douse hot spots and check the wall between the house and the garage for fire.

All of the homes' residents were reported to be safe and no injuries were reported. At the time of publishing, Brady was unsure if the family would be displaced or able to return to their home this evening.
Damages and the cause of the fire are unknown at this time.
