Firefighter Found Guilty Of Child Sex Abuse
BREAKING NEWS: A 14-year-member of the Prince George's County Fire Department was found guilty of child sex abuse, officials said.

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — A 14-year-member of the Prince George's County Fire Department was found guilty of child sex abuse, according to a news release from the department.
Donald McCoy Stancell, 39, of New Carrollton was found guilty of the felony charge by a Charles County Jury Nov. 21.
Stancell was accused of sexually abusing a minor under his supervision for multiple years. The abuse started when the girl was 14 years old, prosecutors said.

The girl told investigators she would have sex with Stancell for gifts and privileges, according to Maryland Independent.
Stancell was a 14-year member of the Prince George's County Fire/EMS Department, officials said. He was initially placed on administrative duties with limited public contact status when he was charged with the crime in Jan. 2016.
